Kelly Electrical Contractors, Inc. has worked in the cell tower industry for over twenty years in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware markets. Through the decades we have constructed and maintained over one hundred co-locates, rooftop sites and new raw land builds.
We pride ourselves on professional electrical site installations and existing power upgrades. We have worked directly with such companies as: Sprint, Nextel, Verizon, T-Mobile, Cingular, Metro PCS, Cricket Communications and Motorola.
We work as a sub-contractor with several tower companies to construct new sites and expand co-locates. We install meter banks, 800 amp, 600 amp and 200 amp services. We are an in-house, non-union electrical company.
Cell Site Decommissioning
Kelly Electrical Contractors, Inc. can assist you with your cell site decommissions. Our skilled crews are capable of removing shelters, BTS cabinets, generators, antennas and wiring, fencing, removal & proper disposal of batteries, safing off of electric and other cell site components from any site. We can handle site decommission from the planning stages and project management to hauling equipment from the site. Kelly Electrical Contractors, Inc. has handled the installation, maintenance, storage and decommission of hundreds of cell sites. You can rest assured our capable crews will handle your project will skill and professionalism. We will also recycle materials when ever possible and handle your decommission in an environmentally safe and responsible manner.
Cell Site Maintenance
Studies show that one of the major impacts on wireless carriers’ performance is cell site maintenance. To keep networks at peak performance and prevent site failures, carriers must maintain and periodically replace equipment at wireless sites. Kelly Electrical Contractors, Inc. is equipped to upgrade and maintain all cell sites. We can repair and/or replace equipment shelters, provide batteries and backup generators, re-stone lease areas, perform grounding upgrades, conduct weed and snow removal, maintain driveways, replace defective coax connectors and antennas, install new lighting and even perform routine cell site inspections to ensure that your cell site is always working at optimum capacity.
